Where is the Mokulele Airlines Honolulu Airport Terminal?
Someone may have told you that you’ll be flying to or into HNL’s Commuter Terminal. It used to be known as that, but after recent updates it is now designated as Terminal 3. This terminal is dedicated solely to domestic flights operated by Mokulele Airlines. It is the smallest terminal of the airport with only a single Baggage Claim Area (A) and the H1 boarding gate.
Can You Get an On-site Shuttle to/from Terminal 3?
You will want to take advantage of HNL’s FREE hop-on hop-off on-site shuttle that takes Mokulele Airlines’ passengers from the main pickup/drop-off areas at Terminal 1 and 2 (second floor). This is known as the Wiki Wiki shuttle, and it runs around the three terminals every 20-minutes. For arrivals, friendly Mokulele Airlines staff will let you know where to go. If headed to Terminal 3 for a departure, you’ll be able to hop on the Wiki Wiki from the upper level roadway, between Diamond Head and Ewa Concourses. We will let you know exactly where to catch it from when we drop you off at HNL (more on this below). While passengers can walk between Terminals 1 and 2, you cannot walk to Terminal 3. For this reason be sure to give yourself an extra 20-minutes at HNL when flying with Mokulele Airlines – a small price to pay for enjoying the inter-island flyer!
