As the state of Hawaii has essentially kicked COVID-19 to the curb, Governor David Ige announced an end to the interisland travel quarantine, effective June 16 2020. While the rest of the world awaits the opening of Honolulu International Airport (HNL) gates, we can at least welcome our Hawaiian island ohana back to Oahu. On the flip side, Honolulu residents can also freely travel back and forth from neighboring islands. But before you book your tickets with Hawaiian Airlines, Mokulele, and recently added Southwest, there are a few things you should know.
